Or, you could do this method, Change your xbox live settings to US By going to Settings - Local - US or w.e it is.. then, dashboard logout press the thing that says whats with Gold, login press the thing in bottom right then, enter paypal details ^_^ get a free month, then remove the renewal iv done it twice on my main account - you can do it as many times as you want just wouldnt go crazy exploiting it!

not my method ;) its been out for ages and its the same method you doing but using your console, and its not exatly promoting its helping the community.
