Gonna have to disagree with you here Rodent. RGH2 on Zephyrs is garbage even when you do know what you are doing. The LAST thing this console needs is updated to a split CB.

the bad thing with them its a 50/50 chance on Zephyrs if they can be RGHED! I have done xenons just to get the key with boot times under 45 seconds to Xell there for like i said all he needs to do is get the key and build the DVD drive for the console and sell it as a retail!

Never was saying it couldnt be done. Just only good for getting keys though. maybe try updating to 14699 and seeing if you can get it to boot.

this will not work it has to be updated past 14717 in order for it to work, even if its 15574 just to get the keys and as Tag Nation already stated he has the keys so his best bet is to just fix it the correct way with the drive and either flash the drive and sell it that way or just make it a retail either way it will be fixed!

And I think you are missing the point about this particular console that is up for sale. RGH1 Zephyrs can have pretty darn good boot times and are NOT a 50/50 chance - they're decent overall, and given the price this would be a good starter box for someone.

RGH2 Zephyrs (which this console is NOT) are definitely hit or miss when it comes to RGH2.
