I just started college last week and my modem was not working. So today i had comcast come and replace it and now i'm trying to set up my Netgear N300 WNR2000v5 router.
I can get connected to it but it says unidentified network no internet access. I am running windows 7 and have looked for the solution to this but could not find it anywhere i've tried multiple things and none have worked. I'm currently direct connected into my modem.
Any help will receive +rep!

Your router should have came with a cd to setup the router, If it didn't or it wont work after then do what I do below
connect your modem to your router, then a Ethernet cord from your router to your computer. find you default gateway (If you don't know how, here is how [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ). then type your default gateway into your inter browser. then setup the name and the password then you should be good!
