I found a guide on this site that seemed to suggest I could just hook my xbox disc driver up to a home computer and be good to run certain software.
Tutorials/id=1568/how-to-flash-yo...lt-20.html
I am not sure on the workings of such a thing, I hope it isn't using the hardware on the home computer for anything to taxing and I could just use my laptop. Wishfully hoping it's just to bypass certain copyrights and such
If so, can I just hook up my laptop. It's nothing fancy and a little dated. Inspiron 15R - 5520.
Can I connect the two without exposing the inside of my laptop, and what adaptor will I need to link it up with the Xbox's cd driver ?
Thanks in advance, and if there is a better less evasive method please tell me .

you could use my post Forums/t=6777973/flash-your-xbox-...-free.html
Also you will need a sata port on your laptop or a USB to sata adapter
