The war is afghan ends today as the final military base (camp bastion) is handed over to the afghan military.

R.I.P to all the troops which have sacrificed their life for their country in afghan.

Gone but never forgotten.

Poppy is a flower, Famous for the production of opium. The drug the british sold the chinese in which they used as a form of male enhancement. But I suppose when he says "wear your poppy" I assume he means for the symbolism. Poppy represents Death, Or peace in some other nations. And If im not mistaken the British are (or did) making a memorial for this coming veterans day using poppy flowers. But I know some people wear them on lapels or on clothing in memory of those who have died.

No it's not.
We are just pulling out, they are still murdering one another over there on a scale unheard of for 'peace time'.

And the role of women and children........ absolutely frightening. Suffice to say this, that place is one of the 'best' places in the world to live, if, you want to watch women and children suffer and die.

If we have stopped fighting them then the war is over simple, they may be still killing each other but thats their war.
