It was a dreary night, and Dale had just gotten off work. He was driving his nice new vintage car home. Some of the street lights had flickered along the way. He payed no mind to them. As he arrived at his house, he had set his keys down on the newly furnished table next to the door.

He opened up his snapchat to see r00t betting all his money in CSGO and losing. Dale giggled at the sight of r00t's face. He snapped back a bottle of hardcore liquor and shut off his phone.

There was a bang outside. Another one. Again. Dale was lost in his own mind about r00t being bad at CSGO. Finally another bang, this time it appeared to be on his door.

He walks down the hallway to find "Don't Open" on his front door, in blood. At first he thought this was hippie using his wizard powers to write it, but he suddenly noticed faint screams outside. He peered out the windows in the door and seen people being ran over by Brad-.

It all finally made sense to him now. Why there were murders every year on Halloween. Brad- had been the headless horseman, or in this case, headless drunken driver you've ever seen.

He looked and his car was missing. He immediately called the police using his cellular device, and couldn't get through. He just kept getting the busy beeps when the line is busy. He just seen Tyler drive up in a new Ferrari. He says to Dale, "Get in! I'll fill you in on the way."

Dale immediately jumps into the new Ferrari. The leather molds to support his back. The car smelt of fresh pine.

Dale yells, "What happened?!"

"Sean has finally set his cats free out of his basement and now they're everywhere. Killing everyone!"

"What are you talking about?!" Dale asks.

"Remember that trap door that Sean tried to get you to go down, and you said no? Well that's where he has been collecting his cats. He poured water on them and they turned into Giant leprechaun tigers!"

Dale thought this was ridiculous. He didn't know whether to believe him or not and then suddenly, the car smashed into one.

BOOM!

The windshield cracked and there was blood everywhere. The size and weight of the damn cat he thought. It was well over 500 pounds.

"How many cats..." Dale asked.
"Exactly 1 million."

Suddenly, hippie swoops in, casts a couple curses, and the world is cracked in half. The world is now divided and we now half to live and start over.

Damn you Sean.

Story Entry

It is 3:04am. Dale is lying in his bed from a night out drying up the local clubs on Halloween, he just can't seem to fall asleep. Tossing and turning in his bed, the taste of tequila fresh on his lips, it's no use. Dale reaches for the remote to the TV, just out of reach he stretches, brushing the edge of the remote with his finger tip he lunges forward in a last ditch attempt for salvation, but it is too much. He falls from his bed whilst knocking the contents of the table over. He picks up the clock, 3:06am, slightly disorientated he crawls back into his bed, escaping the cold air.

There's a creak in the corridor, followed by faint footsteps, Dale considers the possibilities and assumes it is the much-too-drunk companion for the evening WCDT, and so once again tries to sleep. As he rolls over on his side to get into a comfortable position, the door handle turns, and proceeds to inch itself open. Dale looks towards the doorway, yet there is nobody. Nothing. Slightly creeped, Dale pulls the cover over his head, completely covered under the blanket he closes his eyes. His breath gets heavier, he begins to breathe faster making it hotter and stuffier under the blanket until he can no longer take it. Dale throws the cover into the air, to his amazement covering a tall figure at the foot of his bed.

Frozen like a rabbit caught in headlights, Dale sits up with his back against the wall, wishing he could escape, eyes locked onto the figure covered in the blanket, he does nothing. No longer just a figure, the person behind the cover slowly removes it, revealing a man covered in scars, too many to count, impossible to tell how one could survive such damage. Dale tries to let out a scream, instead lets out a tiny squeak, not even enough to wake a mouse as the person moves closer. Glancing down, Dale notices the person's hands as the fingernails quickly lengthen to that of a carving knife. As the man reaches Dale, towering over him, looking into his eyes, he lunges his fingernails into Dale's chest, pulling to the sides, snapping the ribs in quick succession.

Feeling the intense surge of pain, Dale wakes up, cursing for having a dream such as that. Now, unable to fall asleep once more, he tosses and turns in his bed, trying to get in a comfortable position. He looks to his table and reaches for the remote, out of reach, he stretches for it, still just unable to catch it, he jerks forward, falling out of his bed and hitting the table. He picks up the contents of the table and reaches for the clock, displaying the time 3:06am. He puts it back and crawls back into his bed. There is a creak in the corridor, followed by footsteps. That is when it clicks, Dale's brain makes the connections, it is happening again, but this time, it is really happening.

Back when I was in college, during summer break I would back home to my parents house. I was going to be there for a few weeks so I brought ALL of my clothes with me, and decided it would be best to sleep in the living room on the couch considering my parents had remodeled my room for a workout area (naturally it was only used once or twice before collecting dust).

The first night was normal, my parents and I watched some TV while idly chatting about mundane school manners. After reiterating for the hundredth time that my classes were all fine, the show ended so they shuffled off into their own bedroom. I was lying on the couch watching a dull program until I slowly drifted off to sleep.

The second night was somewhat normal as well, the same thing happened that night but I woke at 4 in the morning to the television toggling on and off. On and off, ticking like a clock running on its last legs, the monotonous drone eventually causing me to be irate. Figuring it was something to do with the power I unplugged it, and it stopped. The room was finally silent again so I went back to sleep.

The following morning, I went to do some errands for my mother, as she was feeling under the weather and I needed to get some things done anyways. I left at around 11am or so, and went to a few different stores, managing to run into a few old faces on the way. I managed to pick up a few chocolate bars for my mother, and some hot cocoa. When I got home the house was extremely silent, which was weird because my mom always listens to the TV in her room while she lays in bed. She always, and I mean ALWAYS falls asleep with the TV on. I walked down the hall, and as I got closer I started hearing noises which were certainly more than just my mothers footsteps. There were voices as well, however I couldn't really tell what they were saying, as if whispers not meant for anyone. As I approached closer and closer the whispers were getting higher and higher pitched, a piercing octave that couldnt be inheritably human. Finally running to the door, I heard the footsteps REALLY loudly followed by the window slam shut. I opened the door to see my mother still asleep in the bed, so I ran over to the window and flung it open looking out -- and nothing. There wasn't anyone ANYWHERE. No neighbors, nor the adolescent kids that normally play outside. Nothing. Everything was still, not a noise was to be heard in the neighborhood, a melancholy melody of eternal silence.

That night the standard routine happened with no irregularities. Consisting solely of watching TV with my parents until they walked off to their bedroom, and shortly after I couldn't keep my eyes open any more fell asleep. Sometime after I woke up and looked at the alarm clock I had set up on the coffee table in front of me, but something was wrong. I couldn't move my arms nor any other appendages. I looked up at the ceiling to find my mother. I freaked out, I went to scream but nothing came out. Everything was exceptionally quiet, I didn't hear anything, not the wind outside, not the light creak the radiator makes, not even the sound of the aquarium filter. I stared in horror at my mother, she looked like she was nailed to the ceiling. Her hands were bleeding, little drips of syrupy red liquid dropping onto my head. I remember how it felt, wet and sort of like those caramel candies you get on Halloween from the worst house when you trick-or-treat. The gut-wrenching smell could only be described as a rotting scent crawling its way down your senses, masking any remnants of the sweet smells that came from her prior. I closed my eyes as tight as I can, keeping them closed for what felt like an hour. When I opened my eyes, she was gone. My mother had disappeared. Tears quickly flowed off of my face, forming a coagulation rivaling that of her blood. I sprang off of the couch and ran to their room, swinging open the door but there she was. My mother was asleep right next to my father, looking undisturbed. I hopped into the bed with them, tightly hugging my mother akin to a young koala hiding in its mothers embrace. I got a "WH-WHATS WRONG DALE?" but I didn't say anything, I continued sobbing until I fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up to my mother gone (My dad leaves for work every morning so I expected him to be gone). I quickly rushed through the hallway into the kitchen to see my mother sitting in the kitchen floor crying. "W-What is it?" Is all I could manage to get out before she looked up,which was when I saw it. Her hands were full of blood, a thick pool cradled in her palms. A quick second look revealed a massive hole in her stomach, and I couldnt fumble my phone out of my phone quickly enough before I dialed 911. Before the sirens were even a mere thought in the distance, she had passed away. She bled out, a once comforting face twisted into a pale and lifeless mug.. My mother died at 43 years old. She was murdered. I would never be able to tell her about the things I saw, I would never be able to tell her that I loved her again. Who would tell me to hang up my clothes, or yell at me for not telling her I was going to stay out later. These went from my realities to the land of the rhetorical in mere minutes.

My father and I spent the next few days grieving sitting in the kitchen as mere shells. We sat there for hours upon hours for about a week, not a single word passing through our lips except the occasional grunts signaling bedtime. Undisturbed by neighbors, by anything - a sanctuary of suffering and negligible comfort. I couldnt cry, I simply couldnt. Would she be proud of me for being a brave man, or pity me for my lack of emotional response. Nothing happened for about a week.

After that time, I went to sleep early. I woke up at 12pm or so, and walked out onto the back porch, taking in the bitter air that may have been sweet mere weeks ago. I sat on the swing and stared into our bushes, after about an hour of sitting out there I started hearing oddly familiar whispers, the same ones I heard while my mother was asleep. I heard the whispers coming from the bushes, my gut tightening up with despair. With tears in my eyes and clenched fists I walked over to the bushes. As I got closer, the whispers turned into easily audible voices. I heard it clear, and what I heard shocked me. "BYE-BYE MOMMY. BYE-BYE MOMMY" It repeated over and over, an infantile voice seeping through the back of my brain. I stood there, stunned, unable to move. I was petrified with fear, muscles tense enough to dub myself a statue. I only managed to get out "who-WHO ARE YOU?" Before I can hear a response this big black mire monster, like something you would see in those cheesy early horror movies. It oozed out of the bushes, and it eventually just contorting to a human like form. It looked like... It looked like my mother, it was her. With tears still in my eyes, I said quietly "m-mom?" After that it wasn't my mother anymore. It gained teeth, it flipped its head upside down and I heard "YOU'RE NEXT" as it leaped at me.

I woke up panting, breathing incredibly heavy. I was on the couch in my parents house, It was 4 in the morning. The TV was on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" I got up almost instantly, ran as fast and as hard as I could to my parents bedroom. I swung open their door, and there what I saw put me in joy. My mother was laying right next to my father. It was back on the first night I got there. None of it had actually happened. I was safe, my mom was safe, everything was alright, save for the black muck that landed on my shoulder from the doorframe.

Well, if you couldn't tell the main character is Dale, tried to keep it subtle.
Good luck to all who may enter. (:

The Cursed Body Pillow

Feat. Dil, hippie, Dale, Tattoo and maybe scizor

Click, Click, Click... a sound that is all too common fills Dil's small... enclosed room. The sound of a computer mouse, clicking again, and again, and again. Yes... it is a Friday night like all others, hippie playing SWTOR, Dale out partying, and Dil... updating his steam profile by purchasing $10 anime backgrounds. Click, Click, Click... the page refreshes, again, again, again. The hunt has begun. Dil knows he can get that digital background for 30 cents cheaper... this is his aspiration in life... his true purpose. Everyone in life has shunned him... his parents, his teachers, his peers, even Tattoo that one time. But he knows, he knows they just don't understand. They don't understand the dream of a young boy, the dream to reunite with his true brothers and sisters in Japan, by purchasing that one more background he can become one step closer to becoming part of the godly yellow race. Maybe with that one more background his parents can finally be proud of him

All too fast it happens, the only light in Dil's life goes out as thunder cracks through the night sky, his internet is down. Knowing that he has lost his one and only chance to secure that custom body pillow at the low price of $170 a dark rage fills up inside of him. One too many times has he lost CSGO bets forced upon him by the tyranny of hippie. One too many times has he been called a weeaboo by... everyone.
"THIS IS MADNESS!"
a solemn cry from a now broken man

At the widths of his tolerance he decides that he has had enough, walking across his dark room, by his once vibrant anime posters who's eyes now glitter red as blood he wonders... when did this begin? A useless question, one that cannot be answered, 'guess that in life you can only go forward eh? He may not know how this has begun, but he knows how to end it, he will end it. Picking up his loved Ahri body pillow a light flickers, the fabric burns.
"Higher, Higher, Higher! Will you NOT go HIGHER?"
As if responding to his twisted shrieks it combusts... everything combusts. The house he once lived in lights up. Just as in the twisted pits of hell the cry's of family members drive into his ears like daggers, the flames finally engulfing his pale skin he lets out one final... ominous laugh. A laugh that will echo throughout time and space, driving one to a dark madness that cannot be overcome. A laughter that is the kingdom of hell that lies within the mind of mortal men...

Bzzzzzzz!! An alarm clock, or a death row execution signal... there really isn't much of a difference is there? The flickering screen reads 371 hours... but 371 hours of what? 371 hours of grinding for a dreary sailor uniform only to put on a graphic within a low resolution computer screen? The clock reads Saturday the First of November... 2014. Did he miss a day? he could have swore he fell to sleep on the 30th of October.
"30 Days September, April, June and...."

The playful laughing for school children can no longer be heard, has the world died?
Check the bathroom... nobody
Check the kitchen... nobody
Check his... bedroom?
There is only one thing in this spiteful world.. an Ahri body pillow, letting of an ominous laugh that echoes through time and space, driving one to a dark madness that cannot be overcome. A madness held within him the entire time

Pulling up the creaky floorboards he internally screams, his voice has been stilled... nobody would hear it anyway. Blood gushing from his now twisted fingers the deed has been done. The floorboards purged Dil descends... descends... descends. Further, further, further. To descend into another tier of existence

Bang! Almost... to god.

Note: Kinda just went with the flow for this one, spent like 20 minutes on it so may as well post it up even if its bad

Angiris wrote Twas a moonlight sky upon the hallowed eve of Halloween, the sky torn asunder by the clouds foreshadowing the fluorescent moon.

I gaze into the sky bewitched by it's beauty, as I crept towards my car. The thought racing through my mind, the troubled echoes of my lost sister beacons through me.

I'm but a husk, in a world of might. I start my engine & drive off into the barely lit road. I think to myself "Only 15 miles, I... I can make it surely?".

I'm a troubled man, haunted by the images of my past the ever burning cinder of pain in my heart like cancer coursing through my body.

I approach the motorway, there are no cars to be seen. Not even a glimmer of life, the cold breaches through the gap in my window I shudder, and reach to close it.

I think to myself "4 more miles, a trip of my life". As I gaze out into the blistering darkness, a figure approaches faster & faster until suddenly my wheel arch snaps like a twig, the sound so monstrous it deafens me.

"What!? is this?" I step out from my car, to see the figure has vanished, nothing but decay and waste lay beside me. As I approach the wheel arch, I feel feint & sickness inside me burns my mortal soul.

I grasp my phone from my pocket, "No Signal! I, uh... I'm stuck here". I walk into the darkness, looking for someone. I travel miles & miles closer to my destination of which laid before my very eyes.

As I walked further, my destination got fainter until there was nothing but darkness before me. "I'm sorry, Hannah... forgive me" I miss her, her beautiful smile, her eyes as bright as diamonds. She was my sister & my only true friend.

She was lost in the darkness like I was, she was lost forever. Her life ripped from her by sin, as I got on my knees to pray for forgiveness I felt my life flash before me as it did her.

Then it rose from beneath the ground the figure, I had so aptly missed, a figure of pure white. It shown like snow on a dew-lit morning.

The figure approached closer & closer, stepping towards me with great pace. I got on my knees and begged, but the figure would not stop.

The light consumed me, I was in a world of white a place of purity. Then, I realized things were not as they seem.

The figure lashed out to me, with a blade of pure light thrust into my cervix. I pleaded for mercy, but none was given as a final blow was laid into my bare chest.

This is the night I lost my life, this is the night I was cast into the depths of emptiness. All was lost and so I thought, a life so pure the words were spoke "Hannah" I awoke.

It was all a dream, none of it was real. I'm safe in my bed, the sun is shining the tree's are are blooming & my body was pure.

Until, I realized. That dream was real, I had killed my sister, and that night she took me with her to.

Not really scary, but I'm not really a horror writer. I thought id make this entry because of the setting and atmosphere I tried to portray.
I have seen this else where. I read this extract from a book.

Friday the 13th 2000,
One dark mysterious night in Atlanta DaleUK and his mother were sitting downstairs when suddenly a loud screeching noise came from upstairs, Dale being brave and courageous he decided to stride up the stairs to see what could have cause this odd noise to occur; after minutes of searching he found a small child's toy similar to a doll but with no eyes and it looked almost ruined, Dale then returned from upstairs to notice his mother had disappeared after shouting numerous times to no answer he heard his mother shout him and ask him for help in an almost childish voice, after near sprinting up the stairs his mother jumped out covered in her own blood and dragged him into a bathroom where she told him to be as quiet as possible and not to worry; just then Dale notice the doll had disappeared and at that precise moment the door swung open and the doll was no where to be seen except from a small boy in the distance wearing what looked to be war time clothing, dale bravely stood up and tried to confront this boy when he disappeared, at that moment dale's mother seemed as if she was taking a fit or seizure but then stopped immediately; she stood up and skipped without saying anything straight into her room, dale stood still for a second trying to figure out the odd sequence of events that had just occurred then he followed in her footsteps into the room... After walking through the door he heard a voice from down-stairs; it was his mother saying "I'm back!".
