i very much doubt that as bungie would not know who glitched or not. it would be therefore impossible to ban these players as they don't know who they are. i got my whole account banned on gta for someone giving me unlimited cash without me knowsing and that's a bigger threat to the gaming community than a glitch

I concur with this guy as well. They have no way of finding out who glitched and who didn't. I would not trust the information you got from those sources, they are just trying to get attention and scare people.

Also they'd be banning about 9/10 of the people who regularly play destiny. Eg the people who will buy the dlc

Not a chance it would be nearly impossible to tell unless they had some sort of theater mode I still don't see why people needed to push him off anyways it wasn't hard to kill him legit you all just needed to go to the middle platform after the 3 people who teleported got back and spray atheon then just rinse and repeat.

Well for some people it only took like 10 minutes to do, so they could probably look at how much time it took to beat atheon. Idk about you guys, but it takes way more than 10 minutes to beat him for me. I've been waiting for my reset. I know if they did it, I'd be first on the chopping block. Lol
