Why does it really matter or affect you in any way? If you can understand what that person is explaining or trying to tell you, who cares...The whole point of it is to be able to quick type/text, and most of the time it is only used in that way!

Some people are just grammatically challenged. Therefore they use abbreviations.

I agree 100%, I can't stand using abbreviations for everything. It makes me cringe every time I attempt to do it just to mess around. The abbreviations that get to me the most are: "r"

It really doesn't bother me, to be honest. I mean welcome to our generation where this generation grew up with phones and used "text-lango" all the time.
