Post them all! I know Eden of the east (all 3 parts) is underrated.

Hmmmm i know alot of good anime but unknown ones are hard to find cause no one see's them.

Doesn't have to be unknown, Like the title says it could just be underrated or not spoken of very much.

Btoom was a very good one it has a hunger games like feeling but alot more action.

It really depends on what you're looking for.

I've never seen Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate mentioned on here - I thought it was pretty good.. mainly because I'm a huge fan of romance.

It depends what you consider unerrated and unknown... And I also don't have a clue what anime you like except you mentioned Higashi no Eden which that anime is pretty known...:

Nerawareta Gakuen was alright... the story wasn't all that amazing but it was still pretty good and it is only like 2 hours long so it's not that bad. Noir was pretty good but it may feel slow at times especially during the first couple episodes. If you like Romance/Slice of life then I think you'll enjoy both Ai Yori Aoshi and Kowarekake no Orgel

I have a few that may not be underrated, but I have just recently heard of them:
Zankyou no Terror:

This is an antihero anime with a really decent plot and good animation. (Action/Antihero)

Sukitte Ii na yo.:

This is a romance anime with a somewhat decent plot that should keep you interested if you're into romance. (Romance)

No. 6:

I really doubt that this is that underrated, but it has a great plot and probably some of the best animation I have seen. (Dystopian Society, Romance, Drama)

Sakamichi no Apollon:

This is a great anime that is a little boring and depressing, but enjoyable if you like the genre. (Music,Romance, Drama)

Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Ramantan - Tsuiokuhen:

A great OVA that has some good animation and a good plot, but is a little hard to follow. I'll advise you that the main series, if you decide to watch it, is a lot lower quality and less satisfying, but is kind of decent. (Action, Romance, Drama, Antihero/Questionable Morales)

I'd have to say Guyver, it's extremely good. (Though its old, so some of you might not like the animation style.)
