AMD for your budget is a no.

Why do you want AMD?

Why is the build you listed in $?

Seen you added a aftermarket cooler did you want to overclock? If so ill come up with another build.

For £700, you're getting Intel and you're going to like it. Really though, Intel beats AMD right now so there isn't much point getting an AMD CPU. Plus, with the GTX 970 being in budget for you, an AMD card would be pointless.

It's a little over budget, but worth it. No need to upgrade anytime soon or add anything, so with this build you'll be sorted until Skylake at least, when you can upgrade to DDR4 if you wish, but you won't need to.

I would rather go with amd as i can then spend more on the graphics card. AMD Vs INTEL the 8350 basically runs around the same speed as the i5 so i would rather spend a bit less

Please please don't

More on ther graphics card? The 970 is a brilliant card and not far behind the 980 plus you can always overclock it.

Amd = no upgrade-ability.

The 8350 is a factory overclocked 8320 so no point in that either.

Intel is the way to go, go with intel or if you go with amd guarantee you will regret it when it comes to want to upgrading and you will have to swap out the Mobo as well as the CPU.

To add to DCFC;s point, the 4460 is significantly newer than the 8350 and only £10 more expensive. With the 8350, your only real upgrade choice would be the 9590 which would be pointless with Skylake coming out mid-late 2015 anyway. With the 4460, you can easily upgrade to an i7. The i5 has significantly better performance per core so beats the 8350 hands down. For your budget and requirements, 4460 is the way. Plus, your argument on the 8350 giving you more money for GPU, it doesn't, it gives you an extra £10 which doesn't go far at you budget. Plus, your next step up GPU wise is the GTX 980 which is going to set you back around £430 anyway.
