i have the 4gb xbox, can i download gta and play it or do i need a hard drive?

yes you can i got it yesterday (beast game) it is 2 gb i think 2.5 at the most

As long as you have enough room to save it to then it will work fine

4GB may not be enough, After all the space used by default you will be lucky to have 2GB left. Best thing to do is go on Amazon and get a 40GB USB 2.0 they work great and are a lot cheaper then the official ones.

No 4gb is not enough room for the game update! the game update requires 8gb or more your best bet is to buy a 16gb USB to download to it.
