Hey guys I just put together my computer. I will post pictures and specs tomorrow just because it is late atm.
Anyways I am wondering if there is a program I can download to control and see my temps or can I use something built into my Mobo. I have the ASUS Maximus HERO VII. Any help is appreciated.

Programs like core temp or HWmonitor will display system temps. If you are concerned about temps check them when the system is under load as idle temps will usually be low.

I have ran into a problem with my Graphics card the (GTX 970 ACX 2.0 SC) will not kick in or in or I guess be recognized. I have taken out and put it back in twice now and still nothing the cables I am using are two 6+2 pins so I have a total of 4 just hanging there. And I plug them into VGA 1 and 2. I am getting a little bit frustrated any help is welcomed.

Most if not all 970's are semi passive, so if you're getting a video output but the fans are not running, that is completely normal. The fans will only ramp up once a set temperature is reached.
