So, im sure those who edit FM4 via hex has done plenty of body panel deletes and rim swaps.

I was talking to someone in a lobby on XBL and they were mentioning that they have played around with the coding and have successfully managed to remove fenders and skirts, swap engines etc all using the same USB/hex method.

This brings me to ask if there is anyone on here that could give me confirmation and a heads up to the processes used, kind of a point in the right direction?

Any information appreciated

TIA

Changing skirts is possible, engine swaps is not, removing skirts is easy, its literally 1 byte away from the hood...
if fender you mean the wheel fender, that is also not possible as even in the Carbin file on a iso you simply dont just put a car together, it come as 'body' which is the body of the car, including doors, fenders and roof, all thats possible t remove is parts of the car which you can change, unless the carbin file contained each piece of a car, it could be possible somwhere down the line if you were to spend a lot of time figuring stuff out.
But straight to the point, fenders aren't removable.

As for the engine, in the engine code it states the manufacturer within the code, with an iso mod/jtag/rgh you can swap because it isnt so hard to change, on the other hand, changing the engine swap via hex is impossible as you cant change the manufaturer details of the engine code. the system will read the code, either crash your setup or derank to a D class with 999999999kg of weight

Need any more info i'd be happy to help
