I don't think they ban you anyway, i think they just give you a warning first. Then they Take action if you carry on offending. But don't take my word for it, i haven't payed much attention to this sort of business.

You won't get banned but don't buy more than that because you want to keep under the radar

Id ask him to buy like 6 different players from you rather than just listing one player.

What everyone else has said, in regards to the warnings/bans
Just to add something new, there's a good chance EA have people working on the inside of coin selling teams so know what accounts to look out for
As your friend's account is a personal account (probably), it'll look less suspicious
