yeah i think what happened is when i put the dvd drive and everything else in, it moved/crushed some points...im going to resolder all the points to ensure they have plenty of room when everything else is installed

what happened is everything worked great when i had it out of the case, i installed a nandx (due to a bad flash earlier) and had it all working. Then I put it all back together and this happened so I'm thinking one or more of my joints got :idea: somewhere along the reassembly

That is what it is, sloppy soldering. Flip the motherboard out and use desoldering braid to remove any blobs of solder present under the nand reading points and make sure nothing is bridged it should work (it may say it overheated for some reason). Check your brige wire (dfb1 i think ) on the Jtag wiring too, if its got a cold solder joint it will brick the console. If your soldering is not the cause, you will need to reflash with your original flashdmp (freeboot image) again.
