Wanting to build my first gaming PC, on a budget of 400. This doesn't include keyboard and mouse, monitor or OS.

Just want something that can run games at a good level.

Can any of you guys help?

Cheers!

Upgrade to 8gb of ram as soon as possible

or get this

Upgrade to 8GB of ram when you can.

The pentium still works well when not overclocked.
However i believe this board you can overclock on, wouldn't recommend a too hefty overclock on it though as I'm not aware how reliable the board is.

To allow the motherboard to overclock you may need to update the bios which you can easily download from the msi site in the driver section

DCFC's first build isn't compatible. mATX case with an ATX motherboard won't work.

For £400, you can get this;

Or you can have the mystery box..

If you go with the build I suggested, you'll want to add another 4GB RAM when you have some more moolah. Then, add an SSD and you can upgrade the rest over time, as you need to.

What Atx motherboard in a Matx Case ay ;)

Thanks, dumb moment changed it. Looks too similar to your build now sorry..

OP: Either one of the 3 builds will work fine, probably best to go with either my first or sanctyy as the z97 board is an all round better board and originally supported OC.
