Please research before even attempting to RGH a console

You cant just use a HDD and transfer cable!

You need to solder things to the motherboard and know what your doing on the computer side of it.

I researched it for around 6month before trying to RGH my first console.

If you cant solder very good i wouldn't even attempt it i would just send it to someone and have them RGH it for you.

what about the usb jtag way is that any good for offline?

did you listen to him the first post?, you need to solder things to the mother board, you cant usb jtag that's impossible,you need to buy team exucuter coolrunner chip to start plus solder iron plus nand x and jr programmer , wires, just stuff to start with cuz u wont do it right,, its more than just a hop skip down the road

If you have no clue what you are doing, I suggest not doing it. You will just end up screwing up your Xbox & then it will be garbage. Your best bet would be to go to the market place and get a trusted seller to do it. That's my personal opinion, but it's your Xbox do what you please!
