Most people use it because there aren't really that many other options. Plus I dont see how it is overpowered when ive out gunned it many times.

I don't think the BAL is too powerful, the issue is with the other weapons not being powerful enough. 4-5 Hit markers on a MK14 is insane. Hopefully they do some re-balancing that benefits players who gravitate towards SMGs because right now I feel like ARs dominate most sight lines and situations. I'd love to see the ASM1 receive a buff that makes its .45 caliber round into the man stopper that it actually is.

The EM1 is unerpowered on core.

Yet it dominates on Hardcore in my opinion.

Tried one time on core and didnt get any kills.
Tried once on hardcore and got like 10 kills with it before switching to HBAR3 (If thats the correct name)

In my opinion its a very good weapon

Its not really overpowered. Its just the best all round weapon in the game. I think if the sub machine guns were buffed the bal wouldn't be nearly as used.

Tk-I-Birdy wrote I don't like to be that guy who moans about weapons but the bal is seriously overpowered I beat smg at point blank and beat most guns at range
I'm not hating on people using it cause I use it but for me it makes the game boring to see lobbies dominated by bal users.
I would like to see them bring out a update that makes all ar and smg boosted up to give other guns a chance

It's not Overpowered if you compare it to some other guns from previous cods like the mp40 from Waw the ump from Mw2 the Acr from mw2 (at 1 point it was a 1 shot to the head)
