so basically my iphone 5 is locked to vodaphone so im wondering if i jailbreak the iphone will i be able to use another networks sim on it ?? please help thanks

No, jailbreaking wouldn't let you do that.
You need to request that vodaphone to unlock it or purchase a factory unlock.

I do believe you can dont yourself but i dont know how, but you can try and find a cell phone repair shop near you and see if they can do it

Just to let you know in the UK iPhone unlocking from any shop is illegal. However im sure if you ring up your carrier they might do it for you but they could be a fee.

I wouldn't suggest trusting online websites to unlock your phone. I would recommend saving up the money and doing it through your provider. Much more safer
