Alright guys, so I just went out and bought a $20 Steam Wallet Card so that I could buy Counter Strike: Global Offense, because a lot of my friends from school have the game and have been wanting me to buy it.

Here's the thing though, my PC does NOT meet the minimum requirements to run CS:GO. But, I recently bought Modern Warfare 2, and I am ale to run that pretty smoothly, only getting a little bit of lag.

In my mind, I would think that a game like Call of Duty would be harder to run than CS:GO, but I honestly have no idea. I'm not good with computers, so. Could someone help me out by letting my know if I could run it at all? I just don't want to waste the $15 on the game then not be able to play it.

If I can't run CS:GO, what are some other games you guys would recommend for around the same price?

+Rep for whoever can help me out with this!

You will be able to run it smooth if you have atleast 3 GB RAM. I have 3 GB RAM going into computer not sure how many into game and I run it smoothly without lag.

It all depends on your specs and where you read the requirements as some sites give you inaccurate requirements to run games.

If you can run mw2 at 30+ fps CS:GO should be fine, CS:GO isnt to intensive you may not get 60+ FPS but should get atleast 30+

Source : I play it on my Laptop when im not at home and haven't got my desktop with me.
