so im new to the whole modding scene and stuff well anyways i got my console rgh about 2-3 weeks ago i couldn't get online because i didn't have a laptop well now i do and im having some trouble.
My dash is on 16756 and the guy that rghed my console said that to download freestyle-dash i needed to change my dash to 16747,he gave me the nand to change it he told me all i needed to do is copy the nand to the usb and then put it on my rgh by pressing the eject button to load xell and it would do it it on its own i have done what he said to do but nothing happens can anyone tell me what im doing wrong or what i need to do ?
any help would be appreciated thanks.

You are probably trying to flash a flashdmp.bin and not a updflash.bin. Look up a tutorial on how to update your console using XeBuild.

ok thanks i have another problem xex won't open,i have windows 8.1 and when i double tap it to open it promps me to open it with a file but nothing opens it,basically it doesn't let me open it someone help?

What .xex are you trying to open on your computer? You don't launch .xex files on your computer, they are opened on your 360.

ok so i downloaded xex on my laptop and i wanna open it to transfer it to my xbox but it doesn't let me open it
? get what im saying?

First off, you want to update your console to 16767, not 16747.

Google and download the following:
- Simple NAND Flasher (Slim Console)
- Flash360 (Phat Console)
- XeBuild 16767

Plug in a USB into your console with SNF or Flash360.
Install either SNF or Flash360 onto your console, and launch the program.
Click on Dump NAND.
Remove the USB, it should have nanddump.bin on it or something similar.
Open XeBuild 16767 and enter in your console information (CPUKey and DVDKey/OSIG)
Click on 16767 as your dashboard.
Click on Generate Hacked Image.
Place the updflash.bin file onto your USB.
Place USB into Xbox.
Open XeXMenu and launch SNF or Flash360.
It should detect the updflash.bin and will update.

XeX what? XeXMenu? You need Horizon / Modio to resign it to your console information, as it is a demo. You can't just launch it from your computer.
