Like the title says I need a laptop for school and light gaming. I would like one that can play Skyrim at near max or ultra settings. The budget is $1200. Any suggestions?

My suggestion would be build a desktop because laptops are crap.

I'd agree but if the primary use is for school, he probably can't take a desktop to school

See that's why I can't I need something to take with me on the go. Also it will be used mainly for school but I want it for light gaming.

With $1200, you could build a PC for your gaming needs and just buy a cheap laptop for school stuff.

Can you people just help someone out when they ask for help. I don't want a desktop because I don't care for pc gaming enough and I want something portable that's why I said light gaming meaning games I will barley play.

Just go to any store and buy one with a price tag that fits.

Shoot for an Alienware or Mac. Alienwares are good for gaming and storing your personal info and Macs are good because they are mostly for personal use but you can still play abit gaming.

alienware and macs are litteraly the worst 2 brands for laptops, anyway go for something from lenovo, msi, or asus.
