You don't want to get an RGH if you don't know what a NAND is.

No where in his post does he say that he is going to purchase a console. He is just wondering what it is.

OP: A nand is a file that you can dump from your console to update, flash a new kv, or get general information out of the console. There is also a nand in the PS3.

Oh, and weren't you the one that was asking if you were old enough to get a "jasper slim rgh"?

And you dont want to get a RGH since you dont know how o flash a NAND or do anything. At least he has modding experience.

As for the OP a nand dump is a cooy of the NAND of the xbox and you use it to exploit the console.

A NAND dump is the result of dumping the data from the NAND chip. The NAND contains a bunch of system files needed for the console to operate such as the bootloaders, HV, kernel, etc.
