Been out of the RGH scene awhile, have a Jasper I'm looking to either R-JTag or RGH2. I was wondering if I can do either of these with a CR3 Lite V1, or if additional or different hardware is required for r-jtag, and which dashboards support rgh2 vs which must be r-jtagged.

I believe the console is on a 15XXX dash, no controller to test atm. Jasper board.

You can RGH2 any dashboard. You can also R JTAG any dashboard as well using the CR4XL

I if remember correctly R-Jtag is its own chip.

R-Jtag was discontinued though. But the results of one are preety good. Quick boot times.

R-JTAG can only be done on dash 15574 and below

You can do R-JTAG or RGH2 with the CR4.

R-Jtag can actually be done on every PHAT console. I would recommend the CR4 for great boot times, bet a Rev C will get the job done and your console will still boot relatively quickly. If you are RGH-ing a Slim I would recommend the Rev C only because it is cheaper. If it is a PHAT, get a CR4 almost instaboots every time.

Thats not what i said. Please read the post. I said that the R-JTAG can only be done on dash 15574 and below. Unless with the CR4 XL they changed it.

I know exactly what you said, and you are still wrong, R-JTAG can be done on any dash with a PHAT console, it has always been this way, it has NEVER been patched. Also, R-JTAG came out after the 15574 dash.
