This is a Tutorial on how to join a Private modded server on clash of clans
Please note- this will not stick to your main account. You are joining on a new account that is just for fun.
This will NOT delete your main COC account!
Before you start, note that you do need a Rooted/Jailbroken device!

Android Tutorial:
Step 1: Download the latest server files (0.4.2) from here "ultrapowa.com"
Step 2: Extract the RAR file to a folder on your desktop.
Step 3: Double click the .exe file to start the server.
Step 4: Find your IPv4 Address by going into Command Prompt, and typing "ipconfig". Go to where it says "Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection", then copy, or remember that address.
Step 5: Download host editor on your rooted android device.
Step 6: Add a new host by click on the plus sign at the top.
Step 7: In the IP Address field, type in your IPv4 Address
Step 8: In the hostname field, type in "gamea.clashofclans.com"
Step 9: Uninstall Clash of Clans
Step 10: Download it again from the Google Store
Step 11: If you did everything right, you should be connected.

Step 6: Open Clash of Clans, and you should be on the modded server

Note that if the server wont load, the server could be down and the server owners are working on fixing it. Be patient please. If you wish to wait and just play COC normally on your main account, just leave the server. Tutorial on hw to do that is below.
How to Get Out of The Server:
go into iFile and remove the ip you put and the "game.clashofclans.com" and hit save and done.
Where do you find the server IP's?
There are many you can join, I suggest IvoryTower server.
Google- IvoryTower Clash of Clans Server
SIDENOTES:
1. Your stats on the modded server, do not carry onto the actual Clash of Clans servers.
2. If you want to save your base before closing Clash of Clans, wait about 5 or so minutes, then quit the game.
3. You may lose your base, or the server will stop working.
4. This is mainly for trying new base setups, or trolling your friends showing them your modded base, and saying its a legit base :tongue:
5. Have lots of fun on this server while it lasts. With an update for Clash of Clans soon, We dont know if it will work after that or not until it gets updated
6. YOU WILL NOT GET BANNED

It should become an App on your home screen when you download that. Open it up, in the upper left hand corner of the app, click it until you see the "/". scroll down to the option "etc" click there. Once in "etc", scroll down to "hosts" click on it then click "text viewer".Once opened, click edit in the upper left corner. DO NOT EDIT ANYTHING THAT IS ALREADY IN THERE! Just click under all the stuff already in there and type in the server ip you wish to join (up in my post). After the ip, hit the space bar and type "game.clashofclans.com then click return/enter. Earlier I changed this and I can't get the stuff I deleted back, how would the stuff I deleted from iFile be put back? I f***** up...

It is ok bud. Just go into your sources and add new source, add the source "http:cydia.myrepospace.com/projectpekka"
Once installed that, stay in Cydia and go into tha source and download the second one in there. This should reinstall "Hosts" in iFile. Once it does. Go into iFile, find your way to "hosts" click on it, open with text viewer, edit it, and delete the "game.clashofclans.com" and the ip the the left of that if that is there.
