Alright so i'm sure there's been lots of these post around but whatever lets get to the point.

I want a good gaming headset for the xbox one, I want it to be able to control the chat and game volume, (maybe a bass boost if it has one but not really worried about it), and I want the speakers to be over the ear speakers. I want a good brand headset like turtle beach, astros, or trittons. I also perfer ones that dont need any adapters, but if it must then so be it.

My budget: I won't go higher than $250 thats my max.

I was thinking about the XO Sevens or I believe they were the Astro 40s.

Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Who ever gives me the most information about the headset they are suggestion will get +REP! (If you just put a name of a headset and nothing else I will report as spam)

Id say just go for the Astro A40's or for $50 more I believe you can get the Astro A50's. They are very good headsets and many gamers use them. Both the Astro A40 and A50 are compatible with Xbox One and have versions for them. I'm not sure if they are headsets which come with the adapters but even if they do its no biggy. You can watch reviews and whatever you want on YouTube, there are some very good videos.

You could get the Astro A40's with a mix amp for $250: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Astro gaming just released a new line of headsets made for the Xbox One and it's $50 cheaper: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Don't go for the XO7 - very little flexibility in terms of what you can do (with PX22s you can change bass, treble, game sound, voice chat, etc) and the things you can change (voice chat volume, game sound volume) are incremented and there's very little control over it.

Also there's a constant clicking sound when it's quiet, and they cut out often. And they're shit.

Do you know how I would hook it up? would I just put green male wire into the headphone jack on my tv? Then just update my controller and use the adapter for chat audio?
