I've never been able to get my NAT Type to be OPEN on the XBOX One on either AW or Ghosts. But on the 360 I've always had an OPEN NAT Type.

Although it says when I go to my Network Settings on the XBOX One it says my NAT Type is OPEN.

I just don't understand why my NAT Type is STRICT in game. Does anyone have a solution to getting an OPEN NAT Type?

Thanks in advance,

- Smoking Santa

Google how to port forward Xbox ports.

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)

You can always do the test your connection method. Go to system settings and test your connection then reload the game.

Whenever my NAT is on strict I hard reset my Xbox (turn it off and take the plug out of the mains) and leave it for 30 seconds. If that doesn't work I just reset my router and that normal works for me.

I'll give the XBOX a hard reset as well as the router.

What I Done Is I Went Onto My Routers Ip Adress It Should Come Up With You Needing A User Name Which You Type In 'Admin' For The Username And For The Password There Should Be One Underneath Your Router, Type Tgem In And Look For Where It Says 'UPnP' If That Is Enabled Disable It. Now Go On Game And Application Sharing And Go To Configure Should Be On The Top Right Take Off Extended Security, Now Go To Set Game Mode And Make Sure That That Is Enabled That Is The Main Problem It Even Says 'This is a function that helps all games work through the NAT of your Technicolor Gateway.' Now Turn Of Your Router For 30 Seconds And Power Cycle Your Xbox One That Means Holding The Button Until The Adapter Goes Orange And There Is No Sound Don't Turn The Xbox On Until The Router Has Been Recovered Fully,This Is My Own Method And I Had A Open Nat On Xbox 360 But Never On The Xbox One And From Doing All These Steps It Made Call Of Duty Ghosts On Nat Open And Advanced Warfare Open And Even The Whole System Says Nat Type Open, If It Don't Work None Of This Is Lies And I'm Sorry If It Don't Work But Atleast Try My Method And If It Does Work Well Done And Add Me On Xbox: Pexsty

PEACE!
