I would seriously try and get a desktop instead of a laptop as you will get ALOT more for your moneys worth mate. If you decide that you would like to go that route, Post a new topic in the pc building forums and we will help you out.

Out of your list I would recommend the one with the NVIDIA 840m, but I'm on a phone so I didn't take a full look. I highly suggest you go to msi or CYBERPOWERPCs websites both have great laptops.

Not everyone wants a pc, just because a pc is cheaper to build doesn't mean that everyone wants to buy one... Some people need laptops for school or work and getting a gaming laptop is much better option so you have mobility. In most situations it is probably better to get a pc but if someone says they want a laptop that is their own personal preference, let them know how a pc has some more benefits but don't **** shove a pc down their throat and call all laptops crap...

All laptops are crap.

Although most aren't and out of those, the 499GBP one with the 860M is the best one.

Aqua has a point though.

The op clearly states that he wants a gaming laptop.

At that price point, he isn't going to get anything special but if he looks into building a desktop, it will beat any laptop at gaming at that price.

OP: if you want a decent gaming laptop, you might want to prepare your wallet as good/worth while ones are not cheap.

However, an mitx system will be cheaper and possibly be better for your needs if you want portability & gaming
