I certainly think snipers aren't necessary, primarily for the reason that they're exploited in such a way which makes them overpowered. I'm on BO2, with the M8A1, jump shotting a guy, get him to full red and he quickscopes me, (without toughness) - that just ruins the game. Especially with AW for instance, the developers EXPLICITLY said there would be NO quickscoping. Are they jut that bad at their own game that they couldn't quickscope, or were just lazy???

Sniping in cod is rarely 'good'.
It's just somebody hardscoping into a spawn, quickscoping or trickshotting. The only maps on which a sniper can PROPERLY be used IMO, are turbine, on BO2, wasteland on MW2 and stonehaven in Ghosts.

Ok for one. They keep taking damage off the snipers. Therefore a fu ck ton of hitmarkers... It gets annoying. Id rather be in a gun fight against a sniper then an ACR or some AR

Personally I think snipers have to stay in the game for competitive reasons. I play lots of competitive call of duty. If they take snipers out it will change the flow of thege entirely. Snipers have always been a part of call of duty and I think they should stay. Yes quickscopers get annoying but on average the go even or negitive at the end of the game. It's irritating but it will ruin the game if they take them out in my opinion.

Quickscoping is something I enjoy to do personally, In my opinion they don't need to fix anything, quickscoping takes a lot of skill and a lot of time to master before they fix snipers, they need to fix the other weapons and make them more balanced, for instance the Bal is probably the most OP weapon in AW, if you are in a gun fight with someone and they have the Bal there is no way you'll win, the rate of fire is to high for the amount of damage it does, sorry for ranting lol but Weapon Balancing is something every call of duty had trouble with so once they figure how to balance out each gun then they should worry about Snipers because if you look at how many people use AR's over snipers, the AR's are more used

You have to be retarded to not be able to quickscope.

Try to quikscope in dis game is faking hard so dont judge the snipers because you cant play whit dis weapon you have to have a lot of skills

They should not remove snipers at all in my opinion. Yeah quickscopers can be annoying but when you have true sniping skill you can easily beat someone with a SMG or AR. Plus the best sniper in AW is the last one because it has the highest chance of 1 shot kills and a fast fire rate. So let the quickscopers do their thing I will just hardscope them to hell with my Atlas.

They don't need to remove them but they need to go Black Ops 1 on them and not give in to the whiney ass snipers and buff them, There was no sniper problem in Bo1 prior to 3arch giving in
