What country do you live in?
Will you be using the broadband for something specific or general browsing etc?
What speeds are you looking for?

For live streaming you'll need broadband with a decent upload speed so I would recommend fiber optic as long as you can get it in your area. Have a look through comparison websites to see what ISPs you can get in your area along with what speeds they offer.

Around 10Mb would be fine for streaming.

I want the best stream quality! Virign is 50mb so would I get 1.7+Mbps?

When I had 50mb/s Virgin, I think I had 5mb upload which is fine for streaming.

Yes, easily.

Its not that hard to steam.

Or, you can record it & upload it later...
