Hey guys, I've never programmed a thing in my life, but my dad is opening up an automotive repair shop and I managed to help him with the logo as I have alright Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
Now comes the website, what would be the easiest way to build a website (besides those generic Weebly websites, I want to be able to stand out), and still have it look nice?
Please help me out! Thanks!

Hey there!
I recommend using some website software such as Wordpress. Wordpress is website software that is very user friendly and easy to install.
Most web hosts provide a easy install for Wordpress.
If you have any further questions, let me know

The only problem with wordpress, though, is that I would have to host on their domain. I'm not in the US right now, so It would be complicated to have to pay for services online via US dollars.

You can purchase a domain + hosting through hostgator, godaddy .. yaddayadda and buy a wordpress theme then upload it VIA cpanel, I THINK. Someone correct me if wrong, this should also allow you to make adjustments.

That actually sounds good! I'll look into how I would go about doing that, thanks a lot!

If you want to help your dad out with the front end designing of his automotive website I would suggest learning a little bit of html and css so you can make him a good base website, and then from there you could send it into a freelancer to add modification if need be. But if you are not skilled or just don't have the time to learn those languages I would just look around the internet for some unique templates because god knows there are thousands upon thousands of templates relating to that industry. If you have any more questions related to this I would be happy to help, I have been building/coding websites with a variety of different software's and just plain html for a while. Good luck!

What do you mean by templates? Templates for a specific program or a coding template? Can you maybe link me to a few that would like nice for an auto repair shop or direct me to a page with templates? Thanks!

When I say templates I am referring to a website template which basically means something that is premade. An easy way to find search for these templates is on google (or any good search engine) with a tag like "Automotive website template" and then maybe add in a "free" or "premium" tag depending on weather you are looking to buy something or want something for free. I went ahead and did a search for you and will list some of the templates that I think are quite nice and you can go through them and see if any are to your liking.

70+ Free/Premium Templates

This is a very good looking one but might be a little common

This is the last one and these are just a list of templates under the tag "Automotive".

I hope this helped, if you have any further questions you can of coarse comment back on this topic or you can shoot me a PM.

Just to clarify Wordpress is content management system (CMS).
It's arguably the best CMS on the market and is FREE!.
You don't need to host on their domain, you can either download from their website:
-wordpress.org
and install manually on your chosen hosting or dependent on the hosting you picked, most have an easy install option in CPanel.

Learn some HTML and css.
That would be the optimal thing to do for what you want to make.
but, wordpress is amazing. It is EXTREMELY user friendly.
