Can anyone tell me a anti-virus program that is free or recommend me one too get. Please help me?

Norton isn't the best. It uses too much RAM compared to other Anti-virus Programs.
As Ant said, Kaspersky is very good in terms of a paid antivirus. However if you are not willing to pay then would reccomend Avira AntiVir.
Its Free, easy to install and doesn't use much RAM.
Another alternative is AVG.
Which is a very popular, and free anti virus program.

Turn off your computer.
Start it back up and spam the f8 button, it could be the f12 button but most likely f8.
Choose Safe Mode.
From SafeMode you can remove and add programs.

if anything avg.com get the trial version and if the virus is super bad download offline files. Hope this helps.
