fknvlink wrote there is no such thing a cure for cancer. You would have to develop a cure for each specific cancer, although as you find a cure for one I assume it would help the with the others but that is a different story.
It makes no sense to hold a cure and not release it to the public. The company could hold a patent on it and literally charge how ever much they want. They could make it $10,000 for a single person or $500 and people would still pay. People would borrow from banks just to pay for that stuff.
And what about the thousands of scientists working on a cure? are they are working towards something already developed or all these people in on it as well?

Also how does a girl with sticky tape on her face prove anything?

I don't understand how you think it doesn't make sense. It makes perfect sense.

Let's say they do have the cure and they charged, let's say $10,000 for the cure. There is about 16 million people with cancer (all types) in the US alone. With a $10,000 cure, they're looking at about a one time sale of about 160 billion dollars (correct me if I'm wrong). And that's it. The pharmaceutical industry probably makes that much alone from radiation treatments, medicines, therapies, etc. all in a 3-5 year time stretch. So, they're looking at around one trillion dollars every ten years or so without a cure. And that's why it makes perfect sense.

It makes sense but there isn't really any physical evidence out there of it being true.

It's like saying, 'It makes sense that there could be a Kraken somewhere in the ocean, it's big enough to hide one and we haven't explored enough of it to be certain that one doesn't exist yet.' That doesn't mean you instantly believe that there is one out there.

Exactly my point though. Their's also not any evidence to say their isn't a cure either.

I think and talk about things like this all the time. Its like the government or whatever just want to make money rather than help people.

If there was a cure, I'm pretty sure there would be at least one scientist with morals that would reveal it to the press/people.

The actual scientists who are researching and developing aren't the ones who would lose something if they did find an actual cure.

If they can charge $1000 for one hepatitis C pill whats there to stop them from charging tens of thousands of dollars on a cure for a disease as big as cancer. There are a lot of theories on why there isnt a cure but rather than advocate conspiracy theories on cancer cures they should start advocating people to get routine check ups

I'm quoting this just so everyone has to read it again. Well said.

I believe this could be true. But if it were about the money you'd think that there wouldn't be any second guesses about legalizing marijuana. Economists estimate that complete legalization nationwide could yield the government a profit of around 120 billion dollars annually. So really they could keep the cure a secret so they can continue the large income but also legalizing marijuana nationwide could bring in a larger profit and the cancer patients could benefit from the marijuana for medicinal reasons. Instead taking the harmful drugs that they give. 95.5 billion + 120 billion = a lot of f*ing money for our greedy government and everybody is happy.

Kind of went off top there maybe a little bit and I know that this may be reported for drug discussion, but it had to be said. Besides marijuana is a plant not a drug.
