DayZ is very CPU intensive. If you want to play DayZ I recommend getting a really good processor. And a decent graphics card won't hurt ;P lol.

I'm more into consoles as I play fifa professinal/competitive. I'd probably only play PC games now and then.

So I'd prefer a streaming/recording PC

Ehm ya that PC you showed me is worse to the one I made for you also that doesn't inslude the price of a 7970 which is about 280 itself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the Xeon doesn't have integrated graphics? So if he wanted to play games at all he wouldn't with that build.

Yes but is he's using it to edit and render mostly, its a better idea to get a good CPU first instead of a crap CPU and GPU at the same time.

The build SEN suggested won't work since it has no GPU. The xeon's don't have an iGPU like the Core i series, Celeron's and Pentium's do.

OP-The build you asked about, with the FX-6350 is not a very good build, it's also in $, when your budget is £ and it doen't include the cost of the GPU.

The E3-1230 v3 has 8 threads so great with editing/rendering/multi-tasking. The GPU is low end but a good card for the price. Case and PSU are horrible but that's so you can afford the Xeon. Upgrade PSU when you have the money, get something modular if you can. Then, add another 4GB RAM. Then you can upgrade case, something like the N200 or Core 1000 would be a nice choice. Then, if you want, add an SSD and/or upgrade GPU.

Or you can get this;

Far better, fully modular PSU. A better case. 8GB RAM instead of 4GB. Although, there is no GPU, but you can just use the i5's iGPU. Plus, the 4460 only has 4 threads so not as good as the Xeon with editing/rendering/multi-tasking.

Oh, and you should upgrade to fibre optic if possible, it's going to give you the best results.
