ivew got a spare hard drive i want to install into my new pc but the problem is this spare hard drive already has an operating system built into it so how would i go about clearing this old hard drive so i can then just use it for storage in my new pc

anyhelp would be apreciated thanks

You'll have to connect this HDD to your PC. Once you've done that, format the HDD (deletes all files).

After doing these steps your HDD will be ready for use.
