Firstly I'd like to say thanks to Forrest for giving me permission to share my story with the community and secondly this topic is based to raise awareness towards drugs.

Before I begin I would just like to say if any member is struggling with this same experience feel free to PM me and I will try my hardest to help you.

Since the recent rules update to the site making it more mature I think this is the perfect time to share my story mostly with younger users on this site to help them always make the right choice and never give in to peer pressure. Let me begin I am 18 years young and not once in my life did I ever imagine I would become reliant on drugs on a daily basis I used to stay in daily playing video games and spending most of my time on this site but on the 5th of April my life changed, in one night my life changed for the worst I was at a party with some friends oblivious to the fact that people were consuming drugs all around me. After a few hours of being at this party I myself was offered drugs but denied them but my "friends" at the time peer pressured me into doing so and from that day on my life changed. Day after day during the summer holidays my diet basically consisted of alcohol and many types of drugs, honestly you name it I've tried it. After the summer holidays had and work started my attendance began to decrease resulting in me getting fired and resulting to the brew. I lost all of my closest friends, girlfriend and got kicked out of my home all because of shit drugs. On many occasions I did consider suicide but fortunately enough for me my child hood friends cared for me and got me back on my feet and for that I will be forever thankful. My story is far too long to tell in a topic but listen to me if you have never touched a drug in your'e life I'm proud off you, never give in to peer pressure! If you've read this topic this far then thank you for your time it means a lot.

I have now been clean for more than 1 month now and also have an interview to become an electrician in 2 days so I hope it goes well! Feel free to thank to show your support!

I wish you the best of luck with your electrician job. If nobody has told you that there proud of who you are, let me be the first. You are a strong minded person for making that decision and it takes guts to share your story.

We all make mistakes, you have learned from your mistakes mate.
Don't dwell on the past. It makes me sad i didn't know you earlier. I might have been able to help you.

While I think the majority of drugs are extremely detrimental to your health, and that they should most definitely be discouraged by all, I think marijuana is an exception.
Yes, it is illegal, but the only thing it can harm is your lungs.

Marijuana can also effect the way your brain works and can cause mental health issues.

Its not just your lungs bud.
