Hey everyone.

I'm male, about to turn 18 and about to get my driving lessons all sorted as I just got a job.

I'm thinking about spending about 1,300 pounds on a car maximum.
The engine size would be 1.4 maximum
Obviously I would spend more but the insurance would be a bomb!

What cars do you all recommend that I should look into getting?

I will look mainly at second hand cars, rather than paying a lot for a new one!

The colours I would take will be White, Black or Blue.

that's what I have and its a good little car!
waiting till my years insurance is up then getting a BMW! happy days

Most people around my area have cars which are 1.2. My first car I got is on finance however not all people like to do this so it's up to you. If you are getting a car second hand I reccomend something like a Corsa, Lupo, Polo or maybe even a clio

Here is my first car but like I said it's on finance and not all people like to take this route.

I only thought of a max 1.4 as they're not too bad to insure, it's the 1.6 I'd be worried about!
