AM3 is dead, Intel is your best option. I'd be going with something like this;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
CPU, mobo, HDD and GPU.
If you want to wait it out and get a better GPU, you can get this in the mean time;

Although, as you already have an AM3 motherboard, you could get an FX-8320. If you want to stick with AMD, decide whether you'd prefer a GPU now, or an SSD now and no GPU. Once you've decided which of the above you'd prefer, remove the mobo and CPU and replace them with this;

You would want an LGA1150 motherboard to support the current generation i7's. However, an i7 will set you back around $300 alone.

mynameise1pc wrote is this good for a i5- i7 4770k ?No. It's compatible but the "k" class Intel CPU's can be overclocked, but only Z series motherboards support overclocking so a B85 chipset board and "k" class CPU is a waste.

4670k is better than the G3258, but the G3258 is a fantastic budget CPU. If you only have $300 for storage and CPU, you won't be able to afford a 4690k. You'll need a decent CPU cooler to overclock a "k" class CPU, which sets you back another $50 or so.

I don't plan on over clocking till i get some real cash for a good build this is my first build :L if i don't over clock that means the G3258 will work with the B85 motherboard perfect and will run games at a least 30 fps + on med graphics

If you're using the iGPU, you will be playing on low settings most of the time.
