This Video was released August 15, 2013 and at 1:13 into it, you can hear they mention Heists. They never said it wasn't going to be available at a later date. THAT is false advertisement!

The exclusives I'm referring to is anything that is available on the Xbox One and PS4 but not the Xbox 360 and PS3. We all bought the same exact game, there shouldn't be anything extra for other consoles. It's a waste of money to buy multiple copies of games. But they're trying to force people to do just that.

False advertising only happens if something was already in the game and was lied about.


ok for example Killzone: Shadow fall was a game that was supposed to have a 1920x1080p resolution but it didn't have that it was sub 1080p and Sony got in trouble for it. Stuff like that is false advertising if Rockstar said they were making heists and gave a date then it didn't get released that isn't.

That's a good example of false advertising, but both are false advertisement.

Again no because the content wasn't in the game and it never had a guaranteed release.


If I recall around November last year Rockstar said Heists were coming "soon". Eventually they said spring 2014 which of course didn't happen (most likely more important things came up like gta v next gen). Now they're saying "soon" again which in my mind wont be anytime this year.






Another example would be Destiny Bungie pretty much false advertised Destiny as this massive MMO game with tons of content. Except it turns out we have half that content and a lot of the stuff that was in-game already is expected to release with the dlc. That's false advertising.

This is retarded. To "compensate" for not having one features that they intended to add to the game, you want them to basically devalue the currency of the game by giving away millions of it to everyone. They may as well just make everything free.

Don't you think they would stop drop lobbies if they could? and just because you couldn't buy EVERYTHING in the game doesn't mean it's not inflation. I don't think you took economics in highschool.

I have revised the petition in hopes of it appealing to the gaming community in general. We're going to need a lot more signatures to get the compensation that we deserve after of their lies and false hopes thrown at us.

I don't see why you are angry with rockstar. They have given every DLC for FREE unlike games like battlefield, they also gave us a free car (The enlergy) for the problems at the star. and people are moaning about heists not coming out yet and they reason for that is becuase they are trying to deal with people hosting money lobbies and using ISO disks so stop crying about it

They gave us those DLC because they have the shark cards. They priced all the items high, made the jobs pay out little and threw in the shark cards to get more money from the players. They also gave us the DLC for certain holidays because they needed to keep the players interested since they were BS'ing us on the Heists.
