Again no upgrade path.

What happens lets say a year from now when your PC is lacking performance and you decide its time for an upgrade.

You will have to scrap the CPU and Mobo.

Also the 8350 is the same as the 8320 just with a factory overclock
or I could just keep an amd card?

Why do you want AMD so much?
because it is so much cheaper. Also because this will be my christmas present from my parents and they said $800. I would like a top end GPU and the CPU let's me do that. If I got an i5 it would cost $100 more onto my budget

AMD is cheaper, yes, but doesn't that just prove to you that Intel is the better route then? Even if AMD is cheaper, your budget is $800 regardless, so spend it wisely. You can go with Intel without having to sacrifice performance elsewhere.

Since prices changed a little, I'd suggest this for $800;

if you haven't already purchased components.
