So I just recently built my computer, at first I started out with a a random T.V until I got paid again. Anyways I bought one and used an HDMI cable and now I bought the second and the cables that came with it arent on option on my graphics card but are on my motherboard so I plugged it into there and the monitor doesnt display anything.

I am trying to use a VGA cable for the second monitor.

Any help is welcomed. Thanks

The GTX 970 doesn't have VGA out, only DVI, HDMI and DP. Using your motherboard I/O doesn't work, you have to plug the cable into your GPU. Your monitor has HDMI and DVI so use one of them. Get an adapter if you need to.

The adapters are 3 times more expensive than the new cables them selves....

Yes, that'll do fine. You'll want a DVI-I cable for your third monitor, if you get one.
