Im from Chicago and I live in a good neighborhood I feel pretty safe but earlier today I went out to go buy some food before you know it I'm caught between a drive by shooting I didn't get hit thank god or they weren't even going for me because one of the shooters yelled at me "blue car drive away my ****a" it was a red light and I booked it this is the first time ive been caught up like this and im still shaken from it I contacted the police but im used to having gangs around but not like what happened today
does anyone else have a story like mine? Or you just Dont feel safe?

LA can be a sketchy place depending on where you end up. I definitely make sure that I lock my doors if I ever drive through compton or watts.

Well I live right by Atlanta so I can somewhat relate. Never had that happen to me before and I hope it doesn't. But big cities suck for living in. Too much crime. But I can't say Atlanta is as bad as Chicago. I've been in Chicago and it's just not a very crime free place.

I live outside the capital of South Carolina, nothing major ever happenss lol. My neighborhood is full of old people that play golf all day.

I live just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In Milwaukee there is a part that if you are white, you get shot on the spot. It's so bad that the cops don't even go down there. Its about a 20 minute walk from my house, but i live in a sub-safe environment. Witnessed some drug deals, illegal sales of alcohol, vandalism, etc. I've never been 'messed with' though.

So yes I feel safe.

No:Because there are police sirens going every 10-15 minutes.
Yes: Because my dad and brother both have a single barrel shotgun so if anything happens then
