I'm kinda taking gaming a bit serious; however, I need a proper headset. Any suggestions?

Yeah They're both pretty expensive, but I've heard that Astro A40 are good overall. I haven't heard anything about the turtle beaches.

Astro's are the way to go. Turtle Beaches and Tritton's are much cheaper, but not as durable as Astro's.

Astro's are pretty good but it just depends on how much you are willing to spend on a headset.

You can get them for $200: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I'm willing to pay no more than 250, so these headsets are actually perfect. Also the reviews are really good about them. Thanks!

I use the Turtle Beach XOONE. They work really good for me. I like them. They're about $80.

If I was you and willing to spend $250, I'd buy this headset and get a scuf.

Hands down the Astro A40's, A50's have the same sound quality but need to be charged.
