This is the most important tip other than showing up on time. Double check your work to assure you have not made any mistakes. If your work fails and it's your fault, you will more than likely be fired and have to pay for the parts on the repair. My friend took his truck to a place locally for an oil change. After he picked it up he got down the road about 2 miles to realize that the guy had forgot to put the oil filter and cap back on. About 2 miles down the road the engine blew up. The employee was instantly fired and had to pay for the tow back to the shop, the new engine, and the labor costs.

Try to get to work at least 10 mins before you have to be there and also ask your boss if there is anything they need you to do before you leave.

It will show that you are interested in the job.

I work in a similar environment.
Motorcycle shop to be exact.
Just whatever you do, try to be happy and no matter what happens
don't let your self get down. If you mess up on something don't
beat yourself down. It just makes you feel worse about it.

Goodluck!

My advice? GO TO SLEEP! You don't want to be tired before you even start working! Haha. Get some sleep, gave a good attitude, try to go above and beyond, try to help people before they ask for it, Do your best!
