That has been on my mind, I will be going to learn how to weld with a friend after highschool and that will take 2-4 years, I don't know if I should just go ahead and sign up after highschool if I think thats the route I will take.

They will test how much you can actually handle, some of the training is mind bottling. You just need to make sure you are able to handle all of it & be sure it's the path you want to follow!

BloodyModsHD wroteMy first few months will be spent out by Japan & then it will go on from then, I get sent back home next Novmeber / December. & Thank you, I appreciate that comment. Means a lot.Thank you for your service where will you be deployed? And Good luckHooligans wrote I have been in the Navy in for 8 months now. I went as soon as I graduated high school. It was honestly the best decision I could have made for myself and my family. It's just a great experience, you benefits can be phenomenal. I am getting deployed out to sea in two months. I'm super excited to go see the world, it's always been a dream of mine to explore. But the military isn't for everyone.

RandomCube wroteI'll explain in the easiest and basic way possible. The Navy is the what you would call the "Stealthy & assistance" branch of the military. Every operation is meant to be done without being detected & the assistance part is what our job is: We are the the ones who basically seek out the entire area & field to make sure the soldiers on foot deal with the least amount of casualties head on as possible. A even better way is think of the missions in COD where you are being stealthy and wear the black slippery suits, There's your explanation. Hope that helps.
