I have an iPhone 5S running on 7.1.2 and I want to use my phones internet (4G unlimited) for my laptop, but I have to purchase an ad-on from my carrier (Three UK). Is there a way to bypass this pop up message I get? I'm open to jailbreaking if thats the case.

There is a tweak called TetherMe. Its for jailbroken devices.
Its for iOS 7 and iOS 8 so if you want to update you can.

You can use Cydia (jailbroken apps) and get either of these listed below...
Those can be used to tether without your carriers consent, but let it be known that your carrier knows that you are doing this and will add the price tag for tethering onto your bill if you use it too much. They know as soon as your turn it on that is what you are doing. Just so you know.
