About a week ago my phoned stopped letting me call and text people. Anybody know how I can fix this? I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I'm with T-Mobile. I'm pretty sure its my SIM card, but why would it just stop working?

My "super reliable" iPhone did the same thing.

I seem to of dropped just a few inches and my antena came loose. Got it taken apart and re-attached.

Not too sure about other phones but could be the problem.

Sometimes, rarely, sim cards can fail and that could be the issue. Go to a t-mobile store and see if a new one fixes it.

Did you alter the software at all? Rooting, custom rom, or custom recovery?

Could also just be an issue on T-Mobile's end. Over the past year or so t-mobile has been upgrading their network and had random outages in the areas they were upgrading. I doubt that because it's been a week now but its not out of the realm of possibility.

Contacting T-Mobile directly is your best bet at figuring it out.

Turn phone off
Remove sim
Restart phone

Turn off phone
Replace Sim
Restart phone

I say this as there is a chance your phone didnt "hand shake" when moving between cell towers.

All failing do what was mentioned in the thread that got delete.
Contact T-Mobile

Never happened to me before so I can't really give my 2 cents.
However, I'd suggest you stop by your local retailer and get it checked out!

Well that's what happens when you don't pay your bill.

Honestly as suggested above, if its bothering you that bad I'd suggest that you go visit your network providers store and have them look at it in person.

If its a billing problem you may have been disconnected. Could it possibly have something to do with your plan?
