Hi, I have recently been given a PS3 which has a broken disk drive so I thought instead of selling it I would muck around and see what I can do! I have been reading the forums Abit and have done abit of reading on jailbreaking, but don't really have much idea on where to start:( I'm not currently running 3.55 so I would need to downgrade to that to start and then I'm not sure after that! Can anyone point me in the right direction for a full on tutorial or maybe explain it to me?

Also is there anything else I can do whilst iv got one to just do what I want with?

Thanks

Well what's the best? And is there anyway way to play games without me having to replace the disk drive?

I prefer CEX personally however i've seen more rtm/rte tools compatible with DEX as compared to cex, and yes, games can be installed to the internal hdd
