Budget: 150-200 GBP [pounds]

Music preferences: Trap, EDM, House, Drum & Bass. Mainly the EDM genre.

Type/form-factor: Over Ear or On Ear, Which ever would provide most bass within my budget.

Open or closed: Seems closed gives more bass, If not then either or.

Listening from: iPhone / iPad

Details: I'd like if possible for them to be portable / foldable, I'd also like them to isolate / noise cancel well. Also If possible a more comfortable pair would be prefered as they're needed mainly for long listening sessions, Thanks for your time.

I have not been posting because:

1. I can't afford headphones.

2. I haven't been keeping up with new releases. Headphone reviews and people who write them are so full of it that I'm not interested in the industry anymore. Frequency response graphs and specs don't tell you everything and the only way to actually describe the performance of some component is to use buzzwords like "veiled," "warm," "dark," "natural," etc. How am I supposed to tell someone that they want a specific pair of headphones because someone on the internet used the right buzzwords to describe it? The only way to know what you want is to actually listen to the headphones and decide based on what you hear. Unfortunately, you won't be able to do that, so you're screwed no matter what.

Sorry guys. Until there's a better way to measure how headphones and audio equipment perform, I'm out. If you're looking for something, I don't think reviews will mislead you (usually), but I'm not going to tell you which leap of faith to take and whose opinion to trust.
