Just picked up a 3DS need some games. Which Pokemon is better?

Personally, I have both and I think the the Alpha/Omega ones are better!

I would start with X/Y since it's story kinda ties in with ORAS.

I didn't really care for the story/region of X/Y myself.
Gen 3 has always been my favorite by far, so ORAS hit me right in the nostalgia.
I'd watch/read some reviews on both and see which would make more sense for yourself however.

I prefer X/Y mainly because I'm really familiar with the Hoenn region and I felt as though X/Y was something newer, compared to OR/AS.
I like both games but if you're newer to Pokemon games I'd suggest X/Y as it, stated above, ties in with ORAS.
